A few from today - 07-08-2006, 05:23 PM

These are three of my faves from this morning...I had some trouble with contrast and such with the sun being as bright and beautiful as it was today, but I like the ones I got when we first got there.

What some cute kitties! Really though you got some great shots. Where was this? Over by Tyler? My mind went blank and can't remember the name of the place.

Joe--here's your jumping shot. I'm not ecstatic about it--if you think you can get it to look better, I'll send you the raw file.

Nice group shot. I think I can figure out who a few of those are.

Laurie I like the first two shots a lot. Great color and contrast. The morning light was your friend!

I have a thread talking about my experiment this morning here:
http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...428#post223428

Here's a few I took in IR using the converted D100:

And the only reason I'm not in the group shot is that I was up a tree.

Laurie, that first shot is wonderful. Hopefully I can make time for my second trip up there once I'm done moving. The water looks like it adds a lot to the experience.

Wow, Joe...those are beautiful...I SOOO want to try some IR in the future. Maybe when I figure out the "normal" stuff first. ;)

Tom...that's awesome of her climbing the tree...wish I had been fast enough to get one like it! :)

I signed up for this particular weekend thinking that if Joe L were going there was certain to be something interesting. I was absolutely right. His steak in a tree idea was certainly entertaining. I didn't get any award winners, but will add this one to my collection because it has the water and a little action.
