You've posted some very clear, colorful shots, and your PBase site is great. Are these all with the Canon 300D? (Man...I gotta get me one of them!).

Thanks Bruce. . These were shot on a Canon 20D. I also have a 300D but have not shot with it in a while. . . . I stumbled upon this forum this morning . . .I never knew it existed. . . what a great find since I am right here in Fort Worth. . .

The shots of the Blues airborne were taken on the west side of the base. . .(so I could have the sun behind me). . . .the close-ups were taken almost show center, right across from where they were parked . . . .

thanks. . . most of the larger airshows have what's called "Heritage Flights" . . .where they have several planes of one service or another flying side-by-side.

Thanks Bill. . .I have seen Airliners.net. . .I have not joined it as yet. . . I have joined a site called Fencecheck.com it's an aviation/photography website that's pretty cool. I have been shooting for about a year now and still learning. . .

That is a great site, I think the images there are much better then Airliners.net.

Now you will be coming to our air show in Sept at Alliance, right. I have work on Saturdays so I don't get to take a lot of pictures, but Sunday is my day to shoot.

I'll be at Alliance in September. . . I am also planning a trip to Oceana NAS in October and a week later to Fleet Week in San Francisco to see the Blues over the Bay. . . .

I might go to the Ft Lauderdale airshow again this year, if I get that weekend off. Also, Im trying to convince the wife to go to Oceana too...Maybe she'll let me go alone..Man, so sweet to work for an airline and have free unlimited domestic travel :o)
