Heritage Park: Fort Worth's "Other" Water Gardens - 04-16-2005, 04:22 PM

This park sits on the bluffs of the Trinity River on the north end of downtown Fort Worth and features a series of terraced walkways, observation walkways and flowing streams of water and waterfalls -- a cool oasis just off the beaten path.

I don't know where you find all these places, but you do and take neat pictures of them.

I like the this one but this one is the one I like better. kind of like a mirror.

very neat place, but too many homeless people there. Be careful!

I hate to have this attitude about anyone, but that's what I saw there.

Just be careful.

Thanks, Bill

I had saved the one you like for my photoblog, but I'll post it here now.

And, you're right, Jerry. I did not see a soul the afternoon I was there, but even some of the tourist literature from Fort Worth mentions the homeless persons one might encounter there. It's sad that the two "water gardens" at both ends of downtown have become havens for potentially dangerous people. Caution should definitely be exercised!!
