This house is another example of Queen Anne Victorian-style architecture, located in a part of Fort Worth which used to be called "Quality Hill." The house is next to the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House on Penn Street, situated on the bluffs overlooking the Trinity River west of downtown.

Very nice pictures Bruce. I especially like the dramatic, almost over the top, colors on the first picture. Well done.

I have some 6x7 images of those same two houses but the weather wasnt as nice when I was out there. Are you doing these studies for yourself or for a client?

It would be nice if you could get pictures of the inside. I love the close ups of the architecture on the walls. The brick adds a nice touch, here in my area of Texas, most of the Victorian style is in wood. Thanks for sharing, I enjoy your post.

You flatter me. No, I'm just interested in Fort Worth architecture as a personal interest. I love the way buildings cooperate with me as a photographer, i.e., they stay put.

My last few days of postings of older homes were all taken last Friday morning, using my Canon 300D with the kit lens at f8.

Nice house, Bruce! You captured the color well. If you have Photoshop, may I suggest playing with the Shadows/Highlights feature to bring out a little more detail? I know it's there just screaming to be seen. :-)
