Ok I got Eatten ALIVE by mosqitos, I had to carry my HEAVY tripod PLUS my camera bag with all my gear in it, and I had to climb down to the banks of the river to get this shot, but it was WELL worth it!

Nice shot Cynthia! Too bad about the skeeters. I'm studying your shot to see where it was you climbed down the banks....
I got kind of an idea from all those bright lights in the forground but behind the river.

F32? Good gosh! Usually lenses don't perform very well at that extreme.. I usually shoot these shots at low ISO and around F11-16 and longer shutters if necessary. However, Your shot came out nice...I can almost see my office in the Burnet building...LOL

Thanks Andrew! I have never really had a problem shooting at F32. Typically when I shoot Night time shots with a long exposure, that is what I shoot at. hehehe Someone had posted something the other day about being out there alone, Yes I was alone. Is that a bad place to be after dark, alone?

Very nice photo; well worth your effort. I want to take some night shots of the FW skyline, but that's going to have to wait for several months until things cool down!
I admire your diligence and spunk.

I think we need a gtg for a FW skyline shoot! Picnic or potluck in a nearby picnic area? Not sure what's there.

Ummm yeah there is a little bit of a clearing in the area I was in. there was ONE park bench and honestly I would NOT sit on it since it is under a tree and has taken a....ummm "Beating" by the birds above. There might be an area somewhere near by. I know I have seen one around the area. I just cant remember where.
Edit: AH HAH! I found it! hehehe Trinity Park - Here is the link to the info and the map: http://local.yahoo.com/details?fr=dd...VHLfC6bngRwmsU
