Need a location again. This time I need a 50's looking bathroom. Older style sing and toilet and maybe b/w checkerboad tile. YOu get the idea.

Not likley to find the B+W checkerboard tile in a 50's bathroom, in those you will find more pinks and greens and maybe grey the B+W look around here was earlier or later (late 70's or 1930s). I would try asking around if you know of anyone in the suburbs of Dallas that live in one of the 50's homes that has not had the bathroom remodeled.

Ohhhh YEAH!!!!!!!!! GREAT Idea! Although you may need to create your own mockup bathroom! hehehe I dont know if you will find anything like that in the DFW area.

When we wer looking at houses...we saw some in the Lakewood or M streets areas. Don't know where to find one now though.

If you could get into any of the big old homes on Forest Park you could probably find what you're looking for.

My in-laws lived over there and had a bathroom just like you are talking about. They had made sure to find replacement hardware that matched the origionals. On the downside, all of those kinds of bathrooms are small!

The part of Forest Park I'm referring to is just south of I-30. It's directly south of downtown FW.
