Boy Scout Museum in Irving - 07-20-2006, 11:06 PM

The Boy Scout Museum in Irinvg is a pretty fun place for kids and adults. One of the highlights for me is the Norman Rockwell Gallery. All of Rockwell's original Boy Scout themed paintings are hanging there.

You're not allowed to use a flash inside so I used my 10.5mm fisheye (new toy). My son is the one in the photo looking at the painting. It would have been a better photo had he been wearing his neckerchief.

The 2nd photo is a wax figure of Norman Rockwell painting.

A little noisey since I had to crank up the ISO, but you get the idea.

(The photo with the Scout looking at the painting is actually of a Joseph Csatari painting, who took over from Norman Rockwell.)

Well I could have shot in RAW and eliminated the problem, but shooting was an afterthought.

The last time I touched your camera I broke out in a rash. :-)

So that's what happened to my stash of "unknown white powdery stuff". LOL
