September 30th details - 08-20-2006, 07:04 PM

We have a reservation for a Behind The Scenes Tour starting at 9am. Because y'all are a such a special group of people we will get discount, so the price will be $40.50 per person.
I will be your guide, and of course we will have a driver. We can concentrate on the more photogenic areas of the tour if that is the consensus, or just visit certain areas, or see everything, as long as we stay within the rules of the Park.

Please plan to arrive at the Visitor's Center (Front Gate) at 8:30am. You will pay at the admissions center when you arrive (credit cards are accepted), tell them you are here for the 9am Behind the Scenes photo tour. Don't buy food, it will be provided on the van if you want it. We want to have everyone checked in as early as possible, we can leave early if everyone is ready early.

Dress appropriately for the weather, including hats for the sun. You can bring a tripod if you like, generally I find it is not necessary unless you are shooting with LONG lenses w/o IS or VR. Up to you. You are encouraged to bring a bottle of water, no other food or drinks are allowed on the van. There are no rest stops on the tour, facilities are available at the Visitor's Center.

Again, if you are on the list and something comes up preventing your attendance, please let me know ASAP so I can give the slot to someone else.

If all goes well, I will schedule a date for October.

Well, I'd love to go on this one! I understand Sept is already full - but if someone has to cancel? I may even be able to talk hubby and the 3 kids into going as well. I'll just keep on checking in here, just in case
