Well...I see you made it Bruce. I've been meaning to go back down there, but haven't yet!

I shot a wedding there a few months back.. right after the remodel. Nice place.. but it was weird for people to keep wandering by and looking into the room (not guests)...they basically put signs on the door to go around but people would just walk through anyway.. I think many people have dain bramage. :)

It's a nice perspective for sure. I wanted to lie down on the floor in the middle of that big stone cavern and take a similar shot, but I chickened out. Nobody else was around too.

Bruce, thanks for sharing these great images. I'm pretty new to the forum but have enjoyed many of the architecture shots you captured in Ft. Worth over the past couple of months. Just wanted to drop you a line and give you two thumbs up!!

I don't get over that way much, but it looks like I need too! It looks a lot more interesting than dallas

Thanks so much, Kirk, for your kind words.

I think "interesting is in the eye of the beholder," or "photographer" in this case. When I'm at a site, I rarely "see" as much as I do later on the computer monitor; it's surprising what a little color boost, good close cropping and perspective correction can do for an ordinary scene. Happy photographing and thanks again.
