Nice pics~~~ but where is it?

One time I was trying to find some lakefronts spots, and realize some of them are state parks..etc...and need to pay or book in order to get into it...something like that...

Nice - I had a chance to do sunset a few months ago and it was tricky working the settings until you get it right (then I was temporary blinded) jk - I shouldn't have look at the sun as much as I did. It probably took off 10 years of eye site. lol

So yes, where is it?

These were taken at Murrell Park which is a free park on the Flower Mound side of Lake Grapevine. It's pretty much straight across the lake from the Gaylord Texan.

there is a free park on the grapevine side too. if you head down dove rd to dove loop and hang a left, go all the way down just before you hit the storage facility just before the speed bump in the road. Off to the left is another free park that has some excelent views. There are some really nice boat houses out there too that could make for some good atmosphere.

I should try that sometime, it would be a little closer for me. I go to murrell to fish and always take my camera with me.

My father in Law had a boat house out there until he passed away last year. I spent MANY summers out there swimming and sailing.
