Can you please remove the tree? It's blocking my view of the house.

I don't know how you find all these old homes, but you're sure good at it.

John,

When I pulled the chainsaw out of my car's trunk, the occupants looked nervous, so I had to leave the offending foilage as is. Besides, it was the only side of the house with decent light that early in the day. Here's a couple of other shots, "moving the tree around" a bit.

LOL

I like the first one of this duo, and I think I'd sepia and blog it. :-)

You're right: it's the best of the bunch. The best time to take this picture is late afternoon, but I ain't going out there anytime soon.

BTW: Here's also what the back of the house looks like.

Yep, that's it.

I hear ya, Bruce. My camera is on the tripod at the back door waiting for the birds to arrive at the bath. Today, I spent a little time going through the archives looking for something to process and post. It's weather like this that makes me sometimes wish I were a portrait photog. :-)

The back isn't what I would have expected from looking at the front.

I am impressed with the variety of homes and architecture that Ft Worth has to offer. Seems lots of the older houses were pretty well taken care of over the years too...
