Howdy Bruce,

That really is a very interesting statue. I had come across it a couple of years ago and looked into the events, I was shocked at what I read. I have lived in Fort Worth almost all my life and I had never heard one person talk about the Spring Palace. It was a very interesting event, and your right, he was a true Hero.

Thanks for bringing this back in the Limelight.

Take care,

This is great Bruce. News to me too. When you get enough of this stuff together, you should publish it all somehow. The resident Ft Worth TPF historian.

Thanks for the insight. Post more, please.
