Hello everyone. I'm actually the groom in this situation and I'm looking for some good ideas on where to do our enagement photos. I tried to do a search, but I didn't really come up with much. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, I don't know.
I also looked at the locales section and saw a few things that might be interesting, but I was wondering if anyone would like to share some of their favorite spots. Or some places that you've always wanted to try. My fiancé and I are willing to trying something fun. Thanks in advance.

Depending on your preferences, I would say the West End in downtown dallas has great urban locations and architecture. Another place for urban stuff is along Commerce St.
As for outdoorsy/greenery areas, most parks will work well, along with the Arboretum or the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens.
By the way, you'll see more responses on this post if you post it in the Wedding section. | | | |

Deep Ellum is a good choice for urban as well, but the grafitti is hit or miss down there right now. Thanksgiving Square in downtown Dallas has a lot of potential for engagements as well as bridals, as well.

Japanese Gardens will charge you like $75 if they think you are on a commercial shoot.

Usually, the colors don't start changing (if at all) at the Japanese Gardens until late October... however, the Red Maples in there do start to deepen their red colors as early as late September.

hmmm...ok. deep ellum or the west end might also be possible. anyone have any other ideas in the dallas area? i live in addison, so i'm kinda looking for things north of dallas, between the tollway and 75. i can go as far north as frisco if there's anything to be had up there. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
