Actually, when they are landing runway 17 (heading south) one of the better spots for catching the approach is just south of loop 820. . . north of the base. They land right over the Cahoba Dr./Navajo Tr. exit over loop 820.

Never mind when I saw the post I just saw the NAS I didn't see Ft Worth. I was thinking of the old one in Grand Prairie.
