My contacts did tell me that Borat Sagdiyew will be in Dallas sometime on Oct 22 promoting his film. He is a diplomat........kinda.

I will most more about his visit when my contacts at the studio gives me more info.

John, a Muslin protest is very simular to a Muslim protest w/o speck check.
Back when Israel was spanking the Hezabulladullas there was a protest in Dallas.
The date eludes me.

Well per the FAA flight restrictions looks like the VP will be arriving just before 3 PM at Love Field and then departing the next morning just after 8 am.
I have looked at the official white house site www.whitehouse.gov and no information has been listed as to this visit. I would assume that he will be at some function downtown or in the Park Cities area to speak.

The Details:

The VP will be here Tuesday afternoon for a private GOP fund raiser in a private Dallas home. At this time there are no protests so this will be a non event as far a photographs. If anything pop up as far as protests or anything of that sort then I will update it and post it here.

So anybody know how the visit has gone on today? Were there any protestors outside of Love Field?

Kinky Friedman will be in town Thursday at SMU in the afternoon and then at UTD in Richardson Fri Afternoon and then for the Debate at the Ch 8 Studios Friday night. So Perry, Carol Strayhorn and the Democratic Candidate (his name slips me right now) will be at the debate also and I would guess that they would have some speaches on Friday Afternoon so we will be hip deep in Politicians this week in town.

The visit went well. None of the stations really covered the visit. Channel 11 had a 3 second clip of him getting off of his plane. There were no protesters at Love or the event site. There was major traffic problems but anytime POTUS and the VP moves you have a large motorcade and over 100 motor jocks. With the current politcal climate I would not be shocked if VP or POTUS come back before vote day.

There will be a protest on Thursday night at Dealy Plaza and it will start 7pm. They will be protesting the Bush leadership and the GOP. The group putting this event on is a national group out of NY and there are protests all over the country for this.
