Too funny. That Giraffe has some serious tongue action going there. Seems to have the process down fairly well for getting all the drink out of those cups.

I really enjoyed the outing yesterday. The visits to the "off limits" areas were really interesting. Thanks again to Steven for arranging this for us.

I didn't take a lot of photos because I visit the park quite often, but I still had a great time and would likely do it again sometime.

I realize a that everything outside the van is blown out on this image, but I wanted to show how good this giraffe was at cleaning the feed out of the feed cups.





I always need good "The End" photos for Power Point presentations...I thought the photo below would work well for that:

That is a great "The End" photo. It reminds me of a project did with Grevy's zebra, where we had to identify individuals by the pattern of stripes around the rump. I had literally thousands of pictures of zebra butts.
