Kewl stuff! Its been so long since we have been to an airshow. They used to have them in Lake Charles, La yearly. Either I miss the ads or they have stopped doing them :(

After looking around I see Hoston has the "Wings over Texas Airshow" at Ellington Field. THose of you who have attended, is it a good show? I am thinking of picking up tickets for the family.

The Houston show is a good one. Lots of WWII, modern planes and stuff blowing up during the Tora Tora Tora show. I have gone for the past 7 years and will go again.

I liked that part of the show. I am surprised I have not seen any explosion shots posted.

Many people would have attempted more shots of the explosions and fire if there were clear shots. Access to the fence area was limited and other distractions in the field of view. The last post above that WTx shot is one of the better line of sight ops. I tried to capture some but my location just did not work out.

Loved the huge umbrella the guy near us put up. The dang thing was as big as a tent!!! So much for trying to get close to the airstrip.

Thanks for the photo review. I decided it was too hot and crowded to attempt to get good photos so I went home. It was more fun looking at your photos.
