Thanks Craig, Roy, and Jerry!!!!!! I'm really enjoyin' the little Fuji. It does do great color, but then I always thought Fuji did.

Anyone notice the jet and contrails over Marilyn's head? Almost PS'd it out!

I really like the shots. You & the fuji work well together.

When you get back, I'll be expecting some lessons.

I like the second one. Good composition, decent lighting, and it speaks of amusement. And a queezy stomach.

Spent the day at the Fair today and had at least 3 people ask me if I was with the Morning News.

If you go be sure to see the Pulitzer Exhibit of the Morning News in the Tower buildings and go and look at the photos of Marylin in the Womens Museum (no photos allowed though) but there are some very good photographs on display and you can really see how good lighting can really make a picture pop.

One interesing shot is her setting in a green convertable that is blown up to about 8 ft by 4 1/2 ft-you can really see the grain in the shot but never the less it is a great photo.

Then of course there are the State Fair Prize Winning photos submitted, one that was a grand champion was super sharp of a Texas Tech game taken from about the area of a high Press Box- I really didn't like it becaue the colors looked false on the field but they were acurate because when you look at the skin tones of the people on the far side line they look acurate. Something about the shot just didn't look right in my eye.
