Diamond-Hill Jarvis High School is having a fall carnival-type thing. My step-mom is the principal and approched me about possibly having a booth to take the kids' photos. She would arrage the backdrop and props, I have the camera, tripod and strobe. What we are lacking is someone who can do on-site printing. She would be able to pay for any material costs, but all the proceeds from the images would go to the school.
I'm not going to lie and say this will be a great advertising opportunity as most of these families are fairly low on the economic scale. The majority of her students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
The event is Friday, Oct 13th and would run from about 6pm to 9pm or so. There will be students available to assist. If anyone is interested please send me a PM or email me! |
