Jerry,

You and Craig obviously spent your waiting time quite profitably: another fine IR. The sky is great in this one. I enjoyed meeting you and Craig tonight: hope it's again soon.

Great shot. The water color really adds to the picture.

Howdy Bruce,

It was so nice to meet you and your lovely wife last night. Wasn't that a moving presentation, and I thought Jerry and I were roughing it to get those IR shots yesterday

We all need to set a time and have a shoot out. We haven't had one in quite a while .

Take care,

Jesus, I point this round shiny thing, and push this little button down! :D

Sorry, but it's pretty true. I have a Sony 717, and with the nightshot feature (lifts the IR blocker off the sensor) and a Hoya R72, I can get real IR images quite easily at 1/60. If you have to shoot thru the IR blocker, you are looking at exposures in the seconds. It's possible with almost any digital, just harder with some. There is a lot of information on the web about digital Infrared, do some google searches. I will be glad to help you if I can.

Craig (panther) is quite accomplished at IR too.

Leslie, I wish you could have joined us. Craig, Karen and I all get off work between 4-5 so we usually get a bite to eat, and do a bit of shooting to kill the time before 7:30. Does not make sense to drive home and back.

Craig took me by the new Radio Shack Headquarters, and we found this scene next door off a parking garage.

Come back, and let us know, we will get in some shooting.

That's my problem...see, my round things are black or white.

Thanks for the info...I'll research it some. It's always intriguing to me when I see one of these.

Jerry,
Sounds good. I would love to join you guys sometime. I just have to figure out how to drive to Ft. Worth. I will suck up my fear of driving there!
