You're a really lucky guy, you know that?

I've been wanting to see this bird for a long time.

I'm sure you've been asked this your shots look like you're sitting in a beach chair on the runway! Where are you that you can get such detailed, sharp, closeup photos? This looks like a fun way to spend an afternoon!

Great shots, beautiful plane.

It can be fun. . .take something to read. . . some days are busy and some days nothing is flying. It's usually busy during the week. It's best in the afternoons with the sun at your back. . . that is if you go to the White Settlement Road location on the west side of the base. .. it's actually the main road into Lockheed but you take the White Settlement road exit and it's a bridge you cross back over and you'll see the area next to the fenceline. . . there are normally cars parked there in the afternoon . . . hope this helps

Keith, once again beautiful shots. Sharp, good color and contrast. My one complaint would be that I'd like a little wider crop on #1 but depending what you were shooting with that might not have been possible.

Hey, that's my alma mater in the background on that last one! You got some great photos here Keith. I think the 2nd is my favorite but I like the perspective on th straight on shot too. Overall very well done.

Very nice shots, wish I had been there to see the F22's.

I used to work (20 years ago) over there and got to see a lot of jets fly in and out all the time.

Man.. I gotta get out there and shoot someday!!! Next time anyone goes out to shoot, let me know. I sure would like to try...albeit I only have a 70-200 on a 5D. Need to pick up a 1.4 teleconverter and a 30D for 400mm FOV. :)

Yes and my wife grew up as a steer too. The dear old schoool upon the hill seemed a lot different back then than it does today.

Andrew, I'm with you. I've been saying that for about a year now and still haven't gotten out there. I'm still not positive on the location on White Settlement Road. That's a long road. If I had an address, I could Mapsco it.
