Well, I was on my way to the Dallas Farmers Market this morning to take some shots when I happend by the TPC in Las Colinas and noticed a nice little place to park beside the road and the only thing between me and Vijay Singh was an iron fence which was just wide enough for a camera lens. By the time I parked Vijay was on the green so I was only able to click a couple of quick shots @ 400mm. Then came Ben Crane, Stewart Cink, Shaun Micheel and Steve Elkington... so I just had to stay. Needless to say I didn't make it to the Farmers Market, but I can do that any day.

I've attached a few photos from my surprise shoot. I will tell you right now they are not the best as I was shooting handheld at 400mm with a lot of wind, but it was fun and a good experience.

Thanks for looking.

I was shooting from a public area outside the property line so unless the police dept. has a problem with where I was located I think the PGA will be out of luck. I'm not going to be there so no way for me know what happens.

Very nice shots under the circumstances. I work across the street at North Lake College, and it was windy today.

I like the first one of the photog: that guy looks like he's using the longest "iron" on that hole

I think this was the 14th hole. It was across the foot bridge and they had to drive across water to hit the green.

VERY Nice David~

Talk about an opportune moment. Personally, I think you got some great shots - ones that i bet some of the "on-site" photographers with media access wish they had taken.

Kudos!
