This is an annual christmas art show and sale at the Sons of Herman Hall 3414 Elm St 214-747---442 2.
He brings in over 40 artists of all styles and persuasions from all over the state for this show to sell their goods and wares, even a photographer or two has been in it over the years.
Fri from 5-9 PM Sat 10 am till 6 and Sun 10-5
In the past they have had some killer gumbo and red beans and rice for a small donation and since it is in the Sons of Herman Hall there is BOOZE that you can drink as you walk the 2 floors of this historic building. There is a great stage area upstairs for live performances and downstairs the bar and some activitiy rooms that are used for the show.
FRI NIGHTS ARE PACKED the last 3 years!
Free Admission, can usually find a free parking spot on the street, there will be some musical acts playing-along the lines of swing music set up in the stairwell and Santa will be there Sunday.
There really are some good artists at this show folks. (I know this has been going on over 15 years now and it gets a bit bigger some years than others, even have had guys doing raku and smithing work in the outside courtyard in the past.) |
