Personally, I think it's just a palace for Jerry. But that's just me.

That wouldn't be the first thing on my shopping list, but I guess it's cool.
My car has a sunroof too!

I'd like to see all the money wasted on professional sports go to a better cause, but nobody ever asks me.

Remind me to swing by and photograph it with a $1 camera when it's completed, just for fun.

Well.. Too bad us Arlington residents don't get free parking or something since we paid for the damn thing. Heck at least let us buy merchandise or something Tax Free.

I know.. pipe dream. In reality, I'll probably visit the stadium all of about 3 or 4 times prior to it being retired...

But.. I do visit the ballpark several times a year..

Hey you got off easy, here in Dallas we gave the Hockey and Basketball team a nice trophy home for nothing and we didn't even keep the naming rights so we basically PAID them to take over the stadium. Now finally we have development in the area with Victory Plaza (I will say that is starting to look nice and when the next Marathon Occurs they will have one great set up for the runners) and the W hotel which was not friendly at all to people attending the Marathon with a Big Old Guard at the Door making sure that no non-guest walk in even though that person could have just wanted to check out what the place looked like. (I did not attempt to go in because I had too much to do to cover the race but that is just damn unfriendly in my book-that person that they kept out just may have been the person who brings in a group that could use 100 rooms for a week!)

Also the Non-Compete crap that was thrown over ReUnion has cost the city millions every year since they have to give any event to the AAC for their refusal which then delays things for who ever books events so they may not want to wait so they just skip the city. Heck they can't even use ReUnion as a tie in with the Convention Center for additional Display space for oversized items because of that clause.

So stop complaining Arlington, at least you had a chance to vote and the BS being spread wasn't too thick! With the AAC you needed 20 mack trucks to just get the first load out! THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF LOADS and a lot of idiots bought the farm hook line and sinker.

Radio DJ I was listening to said that the new Stadium looked kind of like a "George Foreman Grill".. having seen the photos, I can see the resemblance...
