Cool Heading to the Arboretum with the Tix supplied by Steve-Thanx - 12-15-2006, 08:15 AM

Going to go out into the FOG and see what I can capture this morning!
One of our fellow TPF'ers was kind enough to give me a couple passes good for the rest of the month.

So I will try to post at least one pic later.

Then talk about a possible Historic Preservation Shoot
Then the demolition at the Arcadia Continues
Then the Art Protistute Art Gallery has a big show tonight in Deep Ellum
Then ???????
(Think I need to add more to my day?)

Paul, What is the Preservation shoot? Or can you say at this point? I used to work at the OU Western History Photo archives and still have an interest in documenting the buildings and locations that were part of the US Western heritage.

Can't say yet, but would love to get the old DR pepper Building on Second and Hickory, heard it is going to be converted to lofts and that is a HUGE building with multiple additions over the years.

A shot I took right near the Arboretum one foggy morning. I had spotted it before, and it occurred to me it would look neat in the fog.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
