Save $10 and get in and shoot, sorry no flash and no tripods, but you can still get some great shots right near sunset and then from the glow of the city in the outside gardens and inside just shoot with the gallery light.

Really the outside shots may get a bit blurry do to camera shake but take that to your advantage and really make em blurry.

If you have never been it can also be just a great way to see what is there and then go back and see the collection and pay your fee.

Now they do have more in the collection than what I saw on my one day and they do rotate works so what I shot may not all be on display.

Also there are supposed to be two major local movie revuers that will be giving their Turkey Legs up or down on the batch of Christmas Season Movies coming out. I've also heard that they serve cocktails (cash bar) on these nights.

So grab a rum and coke and look at a Picasso till it makes sense to you!

Perhaps I understand the no flash; presumably this is meant to protect the sculptures from radiation damage, but any idea why no tripod? I've used a tripod at the Nasher before.

Thx a lot for the suggestion..the Nasher is indeed a great place to have a Rum & Coke..and I'd gladly pay to go.
