Rainy Day at the Arboretum

So it's cold, overcast, drizzly. What to do? Why, go to the Arboretum! Strangely enough the wife and kid didn't wish to go. But I had some fun. Even spotted Santa on the way out there!

There were a number of other people out there, but I think most of them were touring the house, which had christmas decorations (at least trees) in it- I didn't go in to see.

Or perhaps the Armadillo Rex in the last frame scared 'em off.

Is there stuff that goes on at the aboretum during winter? I'm sure there are...just not that many flowers in bloom. :)
