I did some exploring over the Christmas weekend in southwest Oklahoma. In the early 1900's a small town named Lugert was founded but was pretty much wiped out by two tornadoes that swept through the area. A few buildings survived but then a dam was built near the town to stock water for irragation and the town was flooded. Certain times of the year when the water is down I like to walk through the area where the town was and take pictures of what is left, here are a few that I took over the weekend.
Thanks for looking.
