What are your minimum and maximum head counts?
Would this be held in a 'real' studio? (high ceilings and appropriate lighting equipment)
How far out are you booking? (I know I'm booked nearly through June)
With those questions, I might be interested. $100 is a very reasonable fee for 5-6 hours if there aren't 20 or 30 'students'.
Weekends are best for me. June 11, July 9 or 16.

I just edited the original post, the minimun head count would be 10 and maximun is 15, on the follow up if there is interest it would be 10 solid.
The Intro it is not on a Studio Setting, since I am showing a bit of everything, we actually did everything outdoors and you can see clip at the Houston side, the objective is to understand lighting and the possibilities on diferent circumstances, for the folow up I may contemplate using a Real Studio, but again it is not necessary, and you will see why once you go to the Intro class, but the only reason I may contemplate the Studio would be for ease of teaching and looking at the computer screens better, or I may just rent a Big empty house and turn it into a Studio for a Day, which I have done it before, it works well as well. but the first one even though we will have indoors available, if the weather is good we will conduct everything outdoors. Lighting equipment would be Provided as well as models, I am hoping to do most of them in June if possible, I got Weddings the first 2 Saturdays on June and I am allready booked for a Wedding next Sunday as well as the following with a Portraits shoot. other than that I am open. The quickest I get feedback the quickest we can schedule it and write it in the stone!

I'd be interested, but I'm out of town for a week and a half in June and then again in July... so it would depend on that schedule (and anything else I may have scheduled).

I'd be very interested, but as others have said, it depends on when.

The more information I know about the days that works for you the better, I will accomodate the majority based on the feedback, so far looks like Weekends works the best for most, so the question would be what Saturdays or Sundays in June or July works out the best for the group? Let me know so I can start figuring out a date, no date would be picked unless I got at least 10 interested.
I hope that answers your question.

I am out of town from June 8th to the 18th and then again from July 5th to the 13th.... other than that, I think I am fairly wide open, especially on weekends... I might even bring my 15 year old son along (he's also interested in photography and has been helping out on some of my photo shoots).

Well, it looks like the next one on Houston is going to be scheduled on the 19th of June, so the following weekend is still open, so I would try to schedule it for that weekend if you guys are interested, let me know either Saturday of Sunday, which one would you all prefer. (unless you want to make it down to Houston in the case there are not enough people in Dallas/Forth worth area)

Sunday the 26th of June works for me. Probably wouldn't be able to make the one in Houston if DFW is a no go though.

I'd love to come but I can't make the 26th as I'm in California shooting Yosemite! Keep us updated on future dates. Are there any spaces left in Houston? I may be able to squeeze that in before I leave on my trip.
Thanks!
P.S. Look for an email from me.

Man, I would love to attend something like this. And the fee is very reasonable.
But with the wedding, the new house, and school, there is just not any left over.....

You may have to yank me if you settle on the June 26. I have a two model shoot planned in Phoenix for that weekend... I'll know more by the end of the week.

Sorry to hear that Robert!
Scott, keep us posted, at least you are shooting! I would love to go shoot in Cali LOL
David, yes there still plenty of space in the Houston Class, I have been swamped and haven't been able to anounce the class elsewhere, so it still lots of open spaces, right now I have been contacting Models and doing a few test before I actually use them for the class, so I am trying to coordinate all this very soon! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
