Ft Worth Zoo Photo Safari - 01-11-2007, 04:55 PM

I don't know if anyone is aware of this event every month or not. I am new to Dallas and have never been to the Zoo. I have lived in the Washington DC metro area all my life and I am still getting used to paying to get into a zoo or museum.

It might be worth a trip in February.

Each session is from 9 to 10 a.m. Please bring your own equipment.

Interesting... I talked at length to the PR director out there months ago about doing something like this... and told them that I was available to lead it. LOL (In other words, was trying to talk them into creating a job for me...)

Glad to see they've done it, though.

Feb 3rd and May 5th sound like the best times. Don't know about photographing a giraffe or rhino haha.

I've attended a similar thing at the Dallas Zoo.... Very cool and fun. They waited to feed the animals until we (the group) showed up.

I'm curious...After the photo ops that the photogs get...can we stay in the park and look at the other exhibits? I mean, does the $20 include admission for the day?

Another option might be to just meet as a group and go shoot.
