local pros at work

This is a discussion on local pros at work within the Dallas / Fort Worth forums, part of the Texas category; I thought it would be fun to show some of the locals at work this evening at a Cliburn event. ...

I thought it would be fun to show some of the locals at work this evening at a Cliburn event. Sometimes its more fun to shoot the shooters than focus on the "celebrities".

Thanks for sharing. I always love to see other photgraphers. Even when I'm at pro sporting events I tend to watch the photogs more than the game. I think its a sickness... maybe one day they'll have a pill for it. :-)

Yeah, there are no Nikons because the DMN and others have a special deal with Canon, so that's all they use. They have a few Nikons on hand, but almost all of their equipment is Canon.

Yep and I know the photographer on the left with the Nikon he works in the North East division of the Star Telegram, I have seen the girl beside him but have not me her yet.

Looks like from the first pic you posted the other three were not as much into shooting as they were with chimping or making sure they didn't get the same shot LOL.

The reason I know the photographer on the left is because I often get assigned to these types of assignments as well but not very often.

Great shots Tom of you catching Paper people at work.
