I'm not familiar with with shooting indoor stuff on location in DFW, but I know there are some beautiful hotels all over. I've also heard that the lobby of the Mary Kay building is something. Good luck to you. What kind of shots are you used to taking? Is the bride fun? How bout a "trashier" bar or something? I like very artistic style shots. Use your imagination. You can make amazing photos in some of the most random places. Just gotta think outside the box a little.

Well, my first thought is the Galleria in Dallas. There are alot of beautiful architectural features, not the least of which is the view down four stories into the ice rink.

Downtown FortWorth is pretty cool, maybe CityStreets if you want some club-type shots.

Or maybe see if you can get into South Fork Ranch.

Downtown Dallas has some neat sunken eateries (one under glass roof) that have nice landscaping.

A short drive south of Fort Worth in Cresson is the Pate Museum of Transportation. Perhaps if you call ahead and offer a nice donation (free admission, donations accepted), they will let you get closer to or even in some of the vintage vehicles they have on display inside.

Thats all I got, hope it helps.

The Stockyards Hotel is a nice place, and if you ask nicely they may let you shoot there. There is also the old, new, train depot in DT FTW.

Most malls wont let you shoot on and in there mall property. It is due to copyright and trademark rules.

I called Dallas Baptist University to see if they charge to use their property for photography and they told me they do not..they have a BEAUTIFUL great room in the main student center..you could call and ask them if you can shoot in there..if not, try the dorms that are colonial style, or the tinsy little library, also in the Mahler Student center across from the great room.

i also shot some bridals in a dorm at TCU...i cant remember the name of the dorm...i can find out if u want to know...it was alright and it was free. DBU would be better though.

there are also gazebos on campus if u want to try a quick outdoor shot.

also call Criswell College in downtown :)

good luck

What about the Gaylord Texan?

Also, Dallas Hall (on the SMU campus) is beautiful inside the rotunda.

Try a Real Estate Agent that you may know very well. At times they have access to million dollar homes that are rich with staircases, fireplaces, and great living rooms that usually have the touch of a professional decorator.

The Gaylord charges a few hundred bucks to shoot there. That's where I wanted to have my bridals taken at. I want to say they told me it was $500 but I wouldn't swear to it. It's a beautiful place though.

Gaylord quoted us $500 as well. Comes with a room for the Bride to change. Then you are on your own to find photo spots. That part could be good as I like to set my own scene but I think I would like to have someone give us a "tour" just to make sure we don't miss a great shot.

Just an idea for a shot- if you're out at the Dallas Arboretum- on the mansion, there is a long porch around on the back side. It has cool arches. Get back up against the building and shoot towards the arches. It takes a very wide angle to get the whole arch in (and you'd have room for a half dozen people under the arch). On a sunny day, contrast is a problem, but on a cloudy day, much better. And notice the little porch thingy over the door; evidently, the big porch wasn't part of the original building.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

I spoke to the gayloard they wanted 500 for 4 hours..they give you a room to change + a personal assit to show you the top photo spots and keep regular folk back while you are working.
FYI some interesting ideas for anyone else looking that I have run across so far are
Thistle Hill - 150.00 for 2 hours
Ball - Eddleman - McFarland House - 150.00 for 2 hours
Lobby of Bass Hall - 150.00 for 1.5 hours
Marty Leonard Chapel - 100.00 for 2 hours includes dressing room
FUMC of Ft.Worth - 50.00
And thats about all I have got ......if anyone else comes up with some good places please post them.
