Wished they made had made up their minds about this crap before I left for school at 5 am! Glad I didn't make it far before I turned around, the roads were ridiculous!

Stay safe everyone!

I got up at 2 to let the dogs out and it was sleeting then so I figured I would not be heading in this morning, so glad I did not too. For those that did, keep it safe.

Dallas is having classes! So no kids screwing with the snow at White Rock when I get over there in a bit.

I tried to make it out as well at 6:00 this a.m. Lots of ice under that snow. I've discovered the hard way this week that rear wheel drive doesn't work in the ice.

I don't know that it would have mattered. My truck is 4WD and normally steady as a clydesdale. I also grew up driving in snow every winter. It was uncommonly slick this morning, my truck was all over the place.

I made it to work on Monday, but got a few blocks from the house this morning and turned around and came back home. Snow plus ice plus idiots equals trouble.

You can drive on snow but you skate on ice!

Took me 40 minutes to get to work, instead of the normal 30. The bad news was those doing 10-15 mph on George Bush. The good news once past those going 10-15 mph there was open road where one could make up for lost time.

Agreed, I chose to work from home this morning. It's the other drivers I'm worried about. Just because you can accelerate doesn't mean you are going to be able to stop.

Well Daniel, you could always just use the time today to pump up your anemic post count.
