THE T OFFERS FREE BUS FARES TO STOCK SHOW THIS WEEKEND
To Boost Stock Show Attendance, The T to Waive Fares Throughout City Jan. 21 & 22

WHAT
The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) will provide free service on all regular bus routes in Fort Worth and on its Stock Show shuttles from Billy Bob’s and Ridgmar Mall, this weekend only, to assist people in travels to the Fort Worth Stock Show during the expected inclement weather conditions. This applies to buses only, not TRE fares.

WHY
The T’s free bus service is to help boost attendance at the Fort Worth Stock Show by encouraging people who may be concerned about driving their cars on slippery streets to use an alternate means of transportation. The T’s purpose is to help support the Stock Show on behalf of the Fort Worth community. Mayor Mike Moncrief commended The T for stepping up and making this offer, characterizing it as “the Fort Worth way.”

an. 22Check individual bus schedules for hours of operation for specific routes. Regular city bus hours of service are 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The T’s Stock Show bus shuttles operate from Ridgmar Mall and Billy Bob’s approximately every 20 to 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Buses to and from the Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) at Jones & 9th streets, all bus stops and transfer centers throughout Fort Worth, all Stock Show bus shuttles that operate from Ridgmar Mall and Billy Bob’s.
