Thumbs up Lovely Shots - 01-22-2007, 10:25 PM

These are great skyline shots: clear and colorful. Definitely worth the trip up and back down for you.

These are great shots! Forgive my ignorance -- I haven't been to Dallas in over a decade-- but is Reunion Tower open to the public? I'm visiting friends in Dallas @ beginning of Feb and was going to search the forum for some "must shoot" sites. And I would love to get some shots like these.... :)

I really like #5 and the way the ghost rider flame is on that building. Looks good from way up there.

Yes, Reunion Tower is open to the public. Here is a link with more info.

This would be fun to go up and shoot at night. Anyone done that before??

The close ups are cool. I love details.

When I was there last July, it was closed for a reception. It was my only night there so I had to settle for this shot.

There's a restaurant in the top. You can go up and eat- I think it revolves very slowly as you do. Or you can pay $2 and go up to the observation platform around the outside- more my speed. Watch out if it's cold and windy, otherwise, kids like it too.

No, I shot those from "The Dome" - the restaurant / bar on the third floor. The windows up there were much cleaner than the plexiglass on the observation deck...
