i expect that some of these meetings will start to get a little more publicity , now that some group of international scientist are ready to drop the huge report on global warming. part of it is due out very soon and the rest of it later on. (please keep this strictly PJ and dont comment on the issues, but the meetings them selves)

so it maybe a good idea for all you PJ's and those wanting into PJ to start looking into covering these events

About 130 people were at the meeting in Dallas tonight with 30 speaking. Most were just average joe/jane citizen some coming in from Collin and Tarrant Counties to speak. Cement Plants sent a spokesperon from their Lobby Group and there were a few groups with reps such as the Siera Club, Blue Skies, and others.

Mayor Miller sent a rep who spoke first and an earlier Mayor of the city spoke towards the end.

No comments are being made by any of the State staff at the hearings but they are taking notes and listening-or look to be listening from their body language.

Some interesting facts coming out.

Public comments can be sent to the state through the first week of Feb.

There are also hearings in the Houston area, I believe those were last week over their air also.
