I went by myself. I decided to take the "thrifty fifty", and sat in the top row of the arena.
lighting is not great, but managable with the F1.8. These are highly cropped. Lots of fun, and where else can you get a corn dog for $5 and a diet coke for only $3 ??

nice shots man!! Action shots are awesome!!! One thing I usually do in these lighting situations is to use the 3 bracket WB feature so 3 pics come out and one or the other has a more "natural" look.. I have tons of pics in this color though..most from hotels and daytime indoor events. But ya, it does take up card space.
