So what did we learn, spiderfriends? Well.. working with a flash is tricky.. and long lenses rock (but only at shutter speeds above 100 or so)

Went with the Nikkor 80-400mm VR - the only drawback is when the cats charge at ya, you have a tendency to freak out and jump back when you're zoomed in.. you tend to forget they're still 30 feet away. ;-)

Question: I would like to do one of these sometime...however, my wife would like to tag along, just to see the cats. Is there the same cost per person for the tour, or is there a discount for a non-photographer to tag along?
