Hair and Makeup artist recommendations? (updated)

I'm not online with communities such as OMP, but I've had some requests from time to time (again today) for a recommendation for a HMUA. This particular one would be for a corporate headshot, but I have brides asking me now and then, too.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Any idea of budget for sessions ranging about 2 hours? This is not my area of expertise.

Are you looking for one person that does both hair & makeup, or could it be two separate people?

Thanks--that's a good question. I'd think for most needs, mostly make up, and maybe a touch up on hair--does that make sense? In other words, not a hair stylist, but someone that might be able to make minor adustments.

In the Dallas area, since I forgot to mention (thought it made sense just putting it in the Dallas forum, but you never know).

I know a guy who does the hair part. I am not sure about makeup. He is also interested in studio photography. I will check for you.

Updating this thread.

I have a need for this next week during regular business hours (date and time somewhat flexible and TBD). It will be for light "executive" style makeup for headshots of three lady execs, approx age 40-ish, and maybe some minor hair "adjustments", as opposed to styling.

I could go on OMP, but I have no idea who/what I would be getting, since I don't know much about MUAs. It will be shot on location at I-75 and Walnut Hill in Dallas.

Does anyone have a contact to which they could refer me?

The client flaked on me with the MUA, and now wants to shoot without one (I didn't think they needed one in the first place, but, whatever).

Maybe I could start this one up again. I was wondering if there was anyone in the DFW area that could send me some contacts for a Hair Stylist for a Bride for the weekend of Dec. 20th. I know its short notice, but I thought that I'd ask anyways. Thanks for any responses.
