I was at the O'Reilly booth giving out free pencils, pens, notepads and discount coupons for about 3 hours today and not a single photog introduced themselves or even asked where the Blue Troll was. Man, was I bummed out! Got lots of great pix and I'll be posting a few shortly.

Don't sweat it! We'll cross paths again soon. I'm still working on my photos and hope to post a few here tonight or tomorrow morning. I agree with some that the lighting conditions were kind of rough in that we had sunlight from the high windows around the place, flourescent lighting from the ceiling, most of the display lighting was incandescent with some of that being colored. Just wasn't conducive to a very good color balance and I'm having to do a bit more than usual.

BTW, did any of ya'll get to see the "Blues Brothers" with thier car? How about getting your picture with Steve Wilkos from the Jerry Springer show? I got a shot of him with my kid in a headlock! Funny thing about Steve, one of my bosses at work looks like his twin brother!

I saw the Blues Bros, but didn't take their picture at the time, and now that I think of it, I don't guess they were there when I went back by.

If you want to understand some of those Beach Boys songs, going there ought to help. "Just a little deuce coupe with a flat-head mill"- one of my shots up there is a flat-head V8. There were some "duel quad" arrangements (from "409", "Shut Down"), fuel injected cars, etc.

Ugh, I wish I could have came out there to see the show. I wasn't feeling too well and had to go to the doctors office instead(Im ready for the weather to stay in one temperature area , lol). Ah well. Maybe next year. And there is always the Dallas Auto Show next month. :)
