Bridal Portrait Locations - 02-16-2007, 11:05 AM

I have a friend in the Dallas area who has asked me to do some birdal portratis for her. Anyone have any interesting or nice locations that would be useful in the Mid March time frame?

I gues sit could still be pretty cool in mid March, but it might also be very pleasant and there might be some good outdoor locations?

Just checking around.

Thanks!
Todd

Edit: Sorry...didn't see the locales forum. Not sure how to move a post?

The Arboretum is the standard place. It's not uncommon to be out there when flowers are out and see three or four sets of brides and photographers wondering around. Cool would be nice, less sweat. They don't charge extra for photographers.

I'm not sure how alive the place will be in mid-March- should be perking up a bit. It'd be worthwhile to do walkthrough the day before if possible.

You can get an annual membership for like $60 which includes free parking and one guest with you. Otherwise, admission is $6-$7 (not sure of exact amount) per person, plus $4 or so to park, so if you go out there a half dozen times in a year, the membership pays for itself easily.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
