Lol! Yes, I made it. He didn't come on until a few minutes after 10, and I had a 10:30 deadline. I pushed my way up to the front and got to go in front of the barricade, right up to the stage, so that was good. Lighting sucked!! And, I couldn't use flash, but everyone that wasn't a pro got to use flash. So, a lot of my pics are red. I have to figure out how to adjust for that in Photoshop. I was feeling horrible, and I almost passed out while shooting him. Unfortunately, I only had time to shoot 1 and a half songs, but he was very good, from what I did hear. He opened with one of my faves, Crashed. So, I rushed out of the place (took awhile to push back through the crowd), uploaded and edited in the car, and headed to Cafe Brazil to transmit. Of course, since it was in Deep Ellum, naturally there was a major bust happening. Street was blocked. Finally got around it and made it to C. Brazil. Tried there first wireless connection, couldnt connect. I was about to freak out. Luckily, there was another for them, connected and got them in 10 min. late, but I had warned them beforehand that the images might be late. I think I did pretty well getting them in by 10:40 considering what time he went on...lol! I will post some in the next few days. I think I have to wait 3 days b4 I can post. And, yes, girls, he's as good looking in person. I was maybe 3 feet away from him. Although, he really didn't seem all that friendly, maybe he was just tired. Didn't seem to talk to the audience a ton, at least not in the first 2 songs of the show.

He may still be working on his stage presence since he hasn't really been performing long. She said he was very nice and seem to enjoy it.

Oh, that's awesome! Unfortunately, I couldnt stay around long enough for that. I had read that he came out in the audience. I would have liked to have been able to stick around to shoot that, although without them letting me use flash, it would have been fairly difficult. Not fair everyone else got to! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
