Great shots, as always, Keith.

I know you've mentioned this location before, but where exactly can the public be and take pictures? Sorry for making you repeat this info.

No problem. . . it's on the west side of the base. It's the main road into the Lockheed-Martin plant. Heading north you'll see a turn-off onto White Settlement Road. . . take that exit and you will see an area as you make the curve. . . .there are almost always cars parked there. . .especially on sunny weekday afternoons. It is spot #1 on this map

Thanks, Keith and Dan; just what I was looking for.

I was out there last Saturday afternoon and must have driven right by that small parking area. The day was lousy, and I don't remember any cars which is what I was looking for, but next time . . . .

So Keith, do you stay out there all day until something happens to fly by, or does it stay pretty busy? I'd like to go out there, but I live in Richardson and don't want to drive that far and not see anything. Awesome pictures, by the way!

Those fellas from Europe look a little suspicious with their cardboard wrapped ladder steps and all.....LOL. Nice work as always Keith! I know exactly where to go, it's just a matter of getting the free time to go there...One of these days.......

I usually devote a few hours in the afternoon. . . say noon to 3 or 4. I take the newspaper or a magazine. . . It helps having a scanner so you can hear what's happening. Last week I heard the twoer say they had a T-38 with a hydralic problem coming in. All air traffic was asked to circle and then you could see the crash trucks scrambling to the runway. Luckily it landed without incident. I also have an interest in the military and the base seems to attract a rather diverse array of aircraft. . .Navy, Air Force and Marines. . . all shapes and sizes.

Thanks Roy. . . I think those guys with the ladders were planning on taking them back to Home Depot to get their money back when they were done.
