The building is owned by Dallas County and will be demolished for the new site of the Foresnsics Science Lab for Dallas County.

If and when they implode this building I wander where would be a good place to shoot? Looking at Google satellite maps the end of Crampton looks like it might be good. It is only about 800ft away though. I've never been to an implosion before so I have no idea how close is allowed.

I caught just a snippet of news today that they were planning to implode some building at 7:00 Sunday morning- I assume this is the one.

---------------------------
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

This building is gone now. But they tore it down with wrecking balls, they didn't pull it with explosives.

Man, if I ever looked up at a building and saw a big red "X" on it, I'd have to assume the worst for that building. Hope I never find that on my house. :)
