You're right.. my sensor is almost ALL dust now! :P

Here are a few lazy ones I shot from the backyard a few min ago:

No processing as far as color...all that has been done is resizing and sharpening for web and the border/logo added.

Haha..speaking of sensor dust... I actually just noticed the speck on my last picture!

I just got my camera, and it's not weather sealed. I'm not taking it anywhere NEAR a dust storm. It's safely in its bag, which is in my backpack, in my office. I'm indoors and can still smell the dust. Definitely not a good time to change lenses.

Our power's been out most of the day due to the wind. Houses in my neighborhood are losing shingles and fences. It's nutz.

You're not kidding there! The power has been cycling off/on most of the day here also. My computers just love it! I took a look outside a few minutes ago and it looks like someone lost some shingles around here somewhere. I hope it was not me! Looks like I might have to head up and look at the roof tomorrow and make sure.

Yikes! I hear it is supposed to be hitting the Tyler area real soon. Fire departments in Smith Co have been running a lot of grass fires caused by downed power lines from all the wind. I live in Cherokee Co but the FD I am on is in Smith Co and serves part of Cherokee Co as well. We got paged out for a lot of smoke just down the road and it turned out it was a plowed field blowing away.

Exclamation A Sepia Day In North Texas - 02-24-2007, 09:30 PM

Like the snow storm on Valentine's Day a few years ago, the pictures of this rare, dramatic event will become more treasured as the years go by. You guys did a good job on these.
