Dallas photo ops - 02-26-2007, 08:16 PM

Hi,

I just moved from Houston to Dallas for a couple of months, thanks to my new job, and I was looking for some nice places where to take photos. Do you know where I could get a good shot of Dallas Downtown skyscrapers?
Whic are your favorite downtown photo locations?
Thanks,
Laura

Graffiti (although slowly being covered up) can be located in Deep Ellum... Main St. and Elm St.

If you look at my website (the model/portrait one), there are a couple of shots taken there. Although a couple of the backgrounds are already covered...

Actually, here is a link to a much fuller sample from one of my Deep Ellum sessions... Rachel

Just go explore downtown; you can ride the dart train and visit pearl and the west end; lots of cool things during the day and at night. Incidentally, pearl station is the arts district, and there is the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Crow Collection of Asian Art, all awesome museums and cheap, too--you cna get into both the Nasher and the DMA for one price.

Hunt up the longhorn statues, a neat spot near downtown.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
