Can I take photographs?

Photographs may be taken for personal use only. You may certainly take all the photos you want of the family drinking a Guinness and eating an Irish Stew on the lawns. You may also take photos of the vendors and other activities as long as you obtain permission. You may take a limited number of photos of the musicians as long as you remain away from the stage and do not use flash. If they ask you to stop, please do so. Access to the backstage areas is strictly prohibited.

The making of any kind of audio recording of any of the entertainers is strictly prohibited, and is a violation of the performing rights owned by the musicians and the SCMA.

I always bring a camera every year and I NEVER take pictures while I'm there! How lazy am I? I was hanging out in the NTIF main office yesterday with my mother-in-law, and 2 photographers came in there. One of them had a HUUUUUGE white L lens and I had to ask him what it was... I was guessing the 500 or 600...but it turned out to be the 200 1.8. I wanted to DIE! I've never seen one in person and I cannot believe how HUUUGE it was. I swear it had to be about 6 or 7 inchest across the front of the glass, and THEN the hood. Wow... He let me hold it too... I could barely pick it up. What an experience... I have to get one now!

I went Saturday night. It was pretty cold out, so it was kind of sparse. It was fun, but I didn't shoot any pictures. $7 for a bowl of irish stew was a little steep though.

I asked him about that lens too. He was in the hospitality room, and I just couldn't stop staring at it. There's one on ebay too. A bit out of my price range!

I was in there Sunday Afternoon. One of those crazy bagpipers, although I'm a drummer - Bass Drum last weekend...

Heheh.. that narrows it down! :) I was the chubby Asian girl with blue streaks in my hair... working behind in of the kitchen areas. My whole body, especially my feet are still beyond sore after that weekend. I'm used to sitting on my butt at work 10/hrs a day, not running around serving food heheh :)

Crystal,

If ya notice... the thread started a year ago and hadn't been posted to for months and months lol :) It was funny that someone actually resurrected it heh :) I can see how you woulda missed it though heh :)

I'm the dummy who posted to a year old thread. Sorry -- I was stunned and stupefied by that lens!
