Ft. Worth Zoo Saturday

I plan on being out there just because I have not been in a while. I will be there when it opens.

I was planning on hitting either the Dallas Zoo or the Ft Worth Zoo while I was up here...what time you talking???

I'd go, but I have a late trumpet gig tonight and an orchestra rehearsal at 9am tomorrow with a concert tomorrow night. This old man can't keep up with you younger folks.....

so you wanna get there right at 10 to beat the crowd? How far is it from Irving/DFW Airport??

I you are coming from DFW just take the south airport exit and get on 121, the airport freeway and go west. follow the signs to Ft. Worth and get on I30 going west. exit at University (follow sign to the zoo ). no traffic and you can do it in 30 minutes.

If you are in Ft. Worth there are lots of attractions. Stockyards, Downtown is great at night, museums, etc.

the zoo is south of I-30 off of University. You will have to turn left off of University. Like Tom said follow the signs

I was there Saturday and saw a couple of photographers with some nice equipment - one with some Canon equip and two Nikon users one female and one male with a Tokina 2.8. I hate I didn't get a chance to formally meet you guys if you were there and I'll post some of the shots I got from that day...
