thanks for the suggestions. hopefully a few photos will be attached to this post. after a few pleasant detours there was little daylight left to explore the whole route on 1171 through flower mound and lewisville (also wasn't sure where would be good to park or pull off the road) so that's a repeat trip for another day.

are you familiar with the building in the 2nd to last photo? we ventured a ways down the road the soloana is on and found this beautiful building and lake. not a soul in site.

The building is Fidelity Investments. It is a fantastic facility and campus.

That first picture with the sky and clouds and tree...wonderful composition and it just screams TEXAS. Good job.

Glad you liked the drive. The pics are great. I like the one with the turtle the best. Yes, that is Fidelity investments. This whole area is nice if you have time to drive around. Mostly REALLY nice homes but some good scenery as well. Post more!
