DFW Shootaround - RESULTS - 06-04-2005, 03:41 PM

A huge thanks to Brad and Jerry for suggesting and help set up this event. What a terrific time and what a perfect event for photographers. We had full access to shoot from wherever we wanted, the light was perfect from the low clouds, there were over 17 different jumps to choose from and of course, the company was first class.

Thanks Brad! Thanks Jerry!

I'll start it off and hopefully the others will follow.

This is from the Trinity River Horse Trials in Fort Worth.

Here's the one shot I really like plus a closeup crop of the same picture. This is Gate #15, very scenic.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make, I really enjoyed meeting all of you and am looking forward to the next shootaround.

There's Joe.. showing us up by posting the bar so high.... no pun intended.

I'm still editing mine... I've posted two, though.. one under a subject of my 10,000th shot with the 10D and one under this week's assignment of Water. :)

I'll post my favorites in this thread and a link to the rest later.

Though I will post this one now....

great shots folks. I probably should have gone to shoot with you all instead of going to shoot where I shot. I'll try to go next time.

Cindy! Now you are really starting to look like me, except I would have had dirt all over me, and an occasional spilled beer.

That counts! I try not to wear white so much anymore when I'm in the field. In fact, I don't think I have any shirts that are pure white anymore!

Really Fantastic Photos - 06-04-2005, 08:55 PM

These are all great photos. It looks like it was a good time. :) I'm sorry I didn't make it. :( I wanted to be there with you and meet some of you face-to-face for the first time, but things came up late this week that had to be dealt with. I will try for next time; promise.
